Bacon and Cheddar Broccoli Salad


This recipe offers a new dash of flavours to a classic green veggie, and is sure to become a new family favourite to have on the table.

Watch as I make a simple (and tasty) Broccoli Salad mixed with red onion and sunflower seeds, sprinkled with delicious bacon bits and fresh cheddar cheese.

Bacon and Cheddar Broccoli Salad

5-6 cups broccoli florets (about 2 heads)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2/3 cup raisins (optional)

½ cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

½ cup sunflower seeds

½ cup red onion, finely diced 

1 cup mayo

2 tbsp white wine vinegar

2 tbsp SMAK DAB Honey Horseradish or Canadian Maple Mustard 

1 tbsp sugar

½ tsp sea salt

Freshly ground black pepper


Combine the florets, cheese, almonds, sunflower seeds, and onion in a large bowl. 

In a separate bowl, mix together mayo, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper. 

Pour the dressing over the other ingredients and gently toss until well combined.
