Grainy Mustard Herb Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cups parsley, leaves picked from the stem 
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp capers (optional, but recommended)
  • ½- 1 jalapeno or serrano pepper (depending on how spicy you like it), cut into chunks  
  • ¼ cup fresh oregano
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 3 tsp Smak Dab White Wine Herb Mustard

Directions

  1. In a food processor, add parsley, garlic, capers, jalapeno, oregano, salt and pepper. Pulse until the herbs are chopped and the mixture forms a very rough paste. (You might have to clean the sides with a spatula a couple times)
  2. Remove the herb mixture and place in a bowl. Add the olive oil, vinegar and mustard. Taste, and season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  3. Serve with grilled meats and fish or use as a marinade.
